My Story..My Life...

I almost choke on my bread this morning while reading The Straits Times and eating my breakfast at the same time. Why? Because I was laughing too hard!

Came across this article about red squirrels and grey squirrels fighting for survival in the UK. I was amused at how the situation of the squirrels are so much alike in the case of humans - that the British are not too fond of the Americans. Just in case you are not aware of the whole squirrel situation...the grey squirrels are introduced from the US and are much better in survival than their English cousins, the red squirrels. But now the grey squirrels will have something to fear...coz here comes the testerone-charged black squirrels!

Now here comes the sentence that made my day:
" 'We only call ourselves the Red Squirrel Protection Partnership because if we called it the Grey Squirrel Annihilation League people might be a bit less sympathetic,' supporter Baron Rupert Mitford told the Guardian newspaper."

Sounds like Lord of the Rings to me :P Do tell me if I am crazy enough to laugh so hard over this sentence.

Seriously cannot stop thinking and worrying about my weight...I mean how can anyone balloon up so fast? Now I do not even dare to look at my own pictures because a dumpling face with chipmunk cheeks will just stare back hard.

And I blame all this weight conscious thoughts at my recent assignment. The second part of the assignment focuses on nutrition assessment. Imagine staring at height, weight, BMI, mid upper arm circumference etc. for a few days...*dark clouds looming above me*

Also just found out that a korean female artiste is the same height as me...but I will need to lose about 20kg before I will have her kind of figure!

Will I be able to slim down before I return home this year? I really want my mum to be surprised that I am able to shake off that chubby me. That will leaves me with *starts counting*...less than 3 months! Yikes!
