I see I have not blog for a long time now...a drastic difference to the days when I even blog twice a day...
Let's see what have been happening...
Ever since Easter vacation started, my block has become reatively quiet. To the point where I might even feel creepy at night! :P So it is back to the days when I have to cook for myself. Quite fun considering I have the opportunity now to experiment different recipes. There were days when I am furious as well, especially when someone stole some chicken slices that I marinated the day before. If I know who that person is, he/she will suffer a fate worse than hell, I tell you...
And there were days when I was really disappointed at a particular someone. Spoilt, maybe. Not feeling well, I do not know since it is too frequent to be a coincidence. But definitely someone who does not know the concept of time and priorities. So disappointed that whenever I have an appointment with that person, I will expect that person to cancel it at the last moment because of sudden headache/tummyache, or because that person could not wake up and get ready in time. I am getting tired and frustrated at making an appointment with that person already...
And there were happy days, especially the trip to Liverpool! I liked it the moment I saw it because of those historical buildings that were just outside Liverpool Lime St train station. A feast for the eyes indeed and my camera happily shoots away. Another thing I like is the sea and the river...something which Manchester is lacking of... But Manchester's Chinatown definitely owns Liverpool's Chinatown :D Speaking of Chinatown, when we were having our lunch at a restaurant in Liverpool, we saw Steven Gerrard's girlfriend/fiancee. Don't ask me how she looks like because what else can you expect from someone who is a model. However, her group of friends are a bit of a show-off, who walks with their bums shaking sideways vigorously. Attention seekers, I would say. If that is what they like, that is what we will give then...
And so back to this morning. When I first opened my curtains, a white landscape entered my eyes. So it had been snowing throughout the night again...no wonder it is so cold...hope it will snow more!

Trying to search for the answer to why do I look forward to EBL sometimes...and I found what I was looking for today...
Because I always provide 'textbook' answers. In other words, the model answer...
And today is the funniest. We were asked the mechanism of combined oral contraceptive pill (The Pill) and progestogen-only pill (Mini Pill). So I said that due to the synthetic hormone, the brain was tricked that there are too much oestrogen and progesterone. Due to negative feedback, the hypothalamus reduces the secretion of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and therefore, the anterior pituitary gland reduces the secretion of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinising hormone (LH). For some reason, the questions today all revolved around negative feedback mechanism. And so I was termed as Miss Negative Feedback today!
Don't know whether to grimace or laugh...:S
Will be going to Toni&Guy tomorrow to arrange for a haircut since they have yet to give me a response ever since that last phone call...

Have I been sleeping too much or what? Why am I feeling a throbbing headache in my brain after a supposedly short nap? And weirdy enough, after that short nap, I could not type my essay properly without having to correct typo error in each sentences...feeing kind of dyslexic now...:S
Funny how dreams and reality overlap...like how in my dream, my hallmate told me the time and when I woke up immediately after that, the time in real life coincides with the time in my dream. Whether it is a sub-conscious thinking or not, I am totally blown off...

The most stupid thing I have done in my entire life is to open the kitchen door while cooking. As you may have guessed, yes, I am the one who set off the fire alarm on 1st of March at Ewings Block in Dalton Ellis hall...
真是丢脸丢到家了!
I guessed the oil in the wok might have been too hot, and the vegetables has some water in it. So oil + water = lots of fuming smoke. Additional ingredient: an open kitchen door. A mixture of above? A happily ringing fire alarm...and possibly a few angry people on the same block.
Now, I kind of have cooking phobia...told you I am staying in catered hall for a VERY GOOD reason...
I don't dare to leave my room without a mask already...and the security guard had to go and say "We know what happened. Someone was trying to cook a Chinese meal..." That was the last blow that crumpled me....:(
So can anybody answer me...how long does it take for everyone to forget about this incident?
p.s: And after all that ordeal, I am seriously hungry!

Haha...woke up early in the morning just to have a video call with my parents! Quite funny actually...because I wanted to tell them about the earthquake thing. Instead, my parents asked me about it first...so they have been updated in Singapore. Then I told my dad that it was quite fun and got a scolding from him instead...:P
Realised that the conversation is mostly about "when I come back in September"...which still seems quite far away...
A little sidetrack here...was browsing and found something that caught my eye...
La Corda Doro...an anime about music...:D
